Derwent Charcoal 4 Pencils Blister Set, in a range of tones from the deepest blacks to the lightest greys. The pencil medium gives you greater control over your drawings while keeping the chalky texture and those rich, bold, and expressive charcoal effects.
Often used for life studies, charcoal is a very traditional art material, but encasing in wood to make a pencil gives Derwent Charcoal a more contemporary feel. Use the Tinted Charcoal White pencil included in this sketching set to add highlights.Smudge and blend easily with a paper stump or finger, or manipulate with a wet brush due to the naturally soluble formulation. Use with other Derwent charcoal and tinted charcoal products for a more dramatic effect.
