Product Description:

• Our clarified linseed oil is a natural oil extracted from roasted linseed.
• It is the driest and most resistant of all painting oils.
• Its slightly amber colouring makes it particularly suitable for darker colours, as sunlight can cause lightening and yellowing.
• This highly transparent additive adds fluidity to the oil with a glossy finish.
• It is mainly used to make a painting medium, combined with turpentine or mineral spirits, the proportions of which must be adjusted to obtain a medium that is more or less lean and to respect the “fat on lean” rule.
• It also allows the paste to be re-filled to give it a little more suppleness and to work longer (the setting time is extended by two).
